Saving Money With a Counter top Water Filter

Our family used to spend hundreds of dollars a month on plastic water bottles. Our tap water not only tastes and smells funny but it’s also treated with several different chemicals that I don’t want my kids exposed to.  We thought that plastic water bottles were our only option until we learned about a counter top water filter. Grandma’s Dumpling

When I was a little girl, I’d spent Wednesday afternoons with my grandma. Looking back, I think it was just her way of giving my mom a little time to herself to run some errands without having to drag me along. Around 10 or so in the morning, Grandma would start cooking. One of my favorites was this lentil and vegetable soup with dumplings. I just loved that soup better than just about any other meal on this planet – and to be honest, I still feel about it this way. Breakfast Made Easy with a Double Burner Griddle

My kitchen has a lot of the basic amenities, but I find I am desperately jealous of people who have stove tops with built-in griddles. Weekend or holiday breakfasts and brunches are such a low key, fun time to reconnect with family and friends but when you can only make a couple of pancakes at a time in a conventional pan it does get tiresome when cooking for more than two. Buckle Tote Bag with Initials

There are two aspects of my life that have combined into agitation.  I workout quite regularly and need something to carry a change of clothes in and I am also very forgetful.  The gym I goto is small enough so that everyone knows everyone.  Unfortunately, I do not realize I’ve lost something until it’s disappeared from where I left it. There’s also the regular occurrence of me just not remembering where I left in the first place.

A buckle tote bag with my initials on it would be perfect.  I don’t like the idea of my name just being written across it. Seems kind of tacky, but were I to leave it behind in the gym, the initials would be enough for whoever finds it to know that it’s mine.  This would make it extremely easy to return.  It might also create some moral qualms for a potential thief at the gym. It’s one thing to steal from an invisible stranger, but another to steal from someone you know on a first name basis.  This could also be something to consider as a unique personalized gift for Christmas as a main gift for a loved one.  EyeCandyGift.com offers many personalized gifts you may want to consider.

Save Money With the Brita OB03 Water Filters 3 Pack

The Brita OB03 filters 3 pack is a very economical way of buying your replacement cartridges for SMART dispensers and pitchers and some coolers. They remove the unpleasant taste from your tap water using activated carbon. They also reduce odor from chlorine and filter out some lead and mercury. It is important to soak the filter twice before use, as per the instructions. Otherwise you will end up with bits of carbon floating in your water. The same is true you don’t change the filter at the appropriate time - after about 2 months. (more…)
